Hello, my name is Makena and I want to help bring swimming lessons to you. I created Ohana Swim Academy to help kids be safe in and around a pool by using a gentle and encouraging approach that enables students to overcome any fear of the water and to progress quickly.
Ohana Swim Academy specializes in highly effective private swim lessons for all ages and aims to make learning to swim convenient, fast, fun, and hassle-free by bringing me to any pool of your choice! Swim instruction can begin as early as 6 months of age up to adults, with guaranteed results.
Customized scheduling is offered and you can choose the swim lesson days and times that will work best for you. You can also book multiple students' swim lessons back-to-back to see them progress quicker.

We were actively looking for Swimming lessons in Ko Olina for our 3-year-old son. After seeing Makena teaching another student we knew right away that we wanted Oscar to have lessons with him. Before the lessons, Oscar was comfortable in the pool with his floaty on... it was time to transition to swimming without. Makena's warm nature and positive approach to teaching lessons gave him the confidence to remove his floaty during his very first lesson. Incredible! Focus on safety during the lessons was always front and center. One of the skills he taught our son was to jump into the pool, swim back to the edge and climb out.
